REQUIRED SKILLS
This position is in the core infrastructure development group. The Senior Software Development Engineer will design, enhance, refactor and maintain the core infrastructure frameworks and tools that are used by the ScanTheMarket.com application development teams to deliver products and solutions to our customers.

Position Requirements

• Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles
• Extensive experience with at least two Object Oriented Programming platforms (C++, C#, Java)5+ years experience with system level class library development
• 2+ years of .NET experience
• Familiar with the .NET Framework
• Experience with
• Client/Server architectures (3 / n-tier)
• Platform or Systems development experience preferred
• Familiar with XML technologies including schemas, XSLT, SOAP, etc.
• Familiar with metadata-driven and heuristic processing techniques
• Experience in data modeling and data base design a plus
• Microsoft Certified Professional a plus
• Strong teamwork skills
• Must possess the ability to effectively and efficiently work in a cross-functional environment including Product Managers, User Experience and QA
• Must be comfortable working in a team environment with short development cycles
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, at all levels to various audiences

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

• BS Computer Science or Engineering
• MS Computer Science (preferred)
• 5 years experience +
